Dental Cleaning and Care

What is an annual dental cleaning and why does my pet need this?
An annual dental cleaning is very similar to what you would experience at the dentist; it includes scaling and polishing of the teeth by a technician and any extractions that are necessary.

Infection in the mouth (usually noticed by the owner because of bad breath)
can lead to serious infections in other parts of the body,
such as the liver, kidney, heart or lungs.
