Dr. Mayes and our veterinary technician Jeramiah recently attended a three hour course covering anesthesia sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health. The program was titled Veterinary Anesthesia in the 21st Century. Topics included Pre-medication, Induction of Anesthesia, Maintenance of Anesthesia and Recovery of Anesthesia.  Topics discussed allow our clinic to provide optimal pain relief and anesthesia for your pets undergoing surgical procedures.

*The speaker was Dr. Tamara Grubb DVM, DACVA. Dr. Grubb is a veterinary professor of anesthesiology.

Dr. Mayes attended a program titled Canine Platelet Enhancement Therapy. The program was sponsored by MWI and presented by Dr. Jeffrey Schaffer DVM, Director Pall Lifescience Animal Health.
